Barefoot Winter Shoes

Barefoot Winter Shoes

Hey Barefoot Colleague

Do you go barefoot in the snow and cold in winter?

Yes!

OK, not exactly.

I mean, you probably should. You would be grounded and get more benefits.

Especially in winter when we almost NEVER get grounded.

Grounding reduces inflammation.

We do it in the summer.

Never in the winter.

It’s too cold for that most of the time anyway.

So I found this solution to grounding.

It’s $11 on Amazon.

They are static heel straps. You can spend 10 seconds putting this on any shoe you want.

Then you go outside and you are grounded.

You can hike in these.

Or just walk outside for a few minutes.

I like to put them on barefoot shoes.

Here's a video of how to use them.

Our feet should not be crammed into the wrong types of shoes.

Most shoes are too narrow and have raised heels.

Both of these things deform our feet and lead to pain.

My two favorite shoes are Xeroshoes

I walked across Boston and NYC in my Xeros and they felt amazing. In the above photo I was grounding in the park near NBC.

They also make amazingly warm winter boots. These things really keep your feet toasty. They have men and women's winter boots.

No discount code on Xeroshoes. They don't offer discounts. You don’t need one. These are by far the most affordable shoes on the market already.

And Vivo barefoot.

I’ve purchased 8 pairs of these shoes.
They are awesome. They are high quality.
They last.

I have three winter pairs of vivo's. They aren't as warm in winter as Xeroshoes, so I mostly use them for hiking in fall and spring. They last forever, and are very comfortable. If you have warmer winters, these are perfect.

Xero is based right here in the US.
Vivo is in the UK.

Grab a pair of barefoot shoes and some grounding heel straps and reduce inflammation this winter.

Your feet will thank you.
